Point of view

The story is written in third person. If the story was in the first person it wouldn't be the same.

Setting

The story happens on a deserted island. If the story wasn't on a deserted island the boys wouldn't act like "animals".

The Writers Style

The author wrote the book very well. He uses easy words to help us to understand better. He wrote the book with enough details. The story is very realistic too.
Theme

The story is about some boys that were in an airplane. The plane crashed in an uninhabited island and now the boys have to try to survive. They are alone.
