Character Introduction:

Ralph-Protagonist, the leader of the boys. round character-athletic 12 year old boy

Jack-Antagonist, isn't scared to speak his mind, red haired boy, very bossy, dynamic character

Piggy-Round character, very quiet, supporting character, helps get people to be on Ralph’s side

Point of view:

The story is written in third person. The author chose to write things like this because it opens more doors for him and it makes write the story as well as interpreting the story easier

Setting:

The story takes place on an uninhabited island in the middle of the ocean. The boys are all alone, with no food, no water and no adult help. They need to figure out how to survive or they won't make it until they get rescued.

Notables about the writers style:

The author wrote the story in a realistic way. He doesn't sugar coat how surviving on an island would be, he shows how it would be. He was a survivor from the war so he uses his personal experience to help him write the story.

Theme:

I think the theme of the story is team work, because if everyone worked by themselves and didn't work as a team nothing would get done and it would be a big mess.
