Point of view
The story is written in the third person. It makes it easier to follow all of the events and characters that are in the story.
Setting
The setting is still a deserted island in the middle of the ocean. It is a lush tropical haven upon which the boys flourish in their self made society.
Writing Style
The story is getting much easier to follow in the second half of the book. The author uses a wide variety of advanced words and literary devices.
Theme-
The theme of the story I believe is loss of innocence of the children and the darkness inside . They are slowly becoming more savage as time goes on.
