Character introduced:
Ralph:Round character and protagonist. He losses the chief and the power of the group. He works with Peggy.
Jack: Dynamic character and antagonist. Becomes the leader of the new group. Becomes crazy.
Peggy:Ralph's supporter. He is killed by Jack's supporter Roger.
Simon:Flat character. The first boy to understand the beast(evil) is themselves. The only naturally"good" character. He is the only person know "Lord of the Flies", and is killed too.
Sam and Eric: Twins, they are always together and called "Samneric".
Roger: Jack's supporter. A sadistic, cruel boy, wants to power for the sake of power.

Point of view:The narrator speaks in the third person, It means the narrator is omniscient.I think author wants us to know and understand the characters' s psychological changes better. And author uses the third people, the narrator focus on the protagonist Ralph, to strengthen reader's thoughts that Ralph is justice and Jack is evil.
Setting:Time: World War2. Place:On a deserted island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.
Author sets the place on a deserted island, it means the boys without the adults and any help, they have to help themselves to survival by themselves. And they are the children, have not changed by the society yet,so they can express completely the justice and evil are from the human inside and the natural of the human. This novel also reflects World War2, the cruel of the war and the people change to savage and loss their mind.
Notable about the writer's style:Golding uses a relatively simple writing style in Lord of the Flies. Lord of Flies is allegorical, It means the characters and objects in the novel are infused with symbolic significance that conveys the novel’s central themes and ideas.
Statement of themes:
The environment can change people's personality or release them inner evil even though a child.
